Global climate change is a crisis that impacts everyone, requiring action from those with the power to make decisions, affecting current and future generations. According to UNESCO, one billion children are at extreme risk from climate change. People, young and old are taking to the streets to protest over unethical practices and raise awareness amongst, highlighting the repercussions of aggressive economies and bad decisions.
Our Msc Green Economy, Sustainability and Climate Change Management is designed to provide a wide set of skills, knowledge and competencies that encompass a single discipline, to provide a clear understanding of such hot topics from a scientific, economic, societal, organisational and ethical perspective.

Learning Outcomes
The Programme is designed to:
- Showcase a critical understanding of relevant theories, concepts, and principles relevant to sustainability management and the development of a green economy, including its applications.
- Appreciate and appraise the role of the individual and organisations in the exploration and understanding of issues related to climate change, green economy, and sustainability.
- Critically evaluate and apply scientific knowledge and skills in the development and implementation of practical solutions to problems of sustainability, green economy, and climate change.
- Recognise and act upon ethical solutions to benefit the global society, through informed choices, leadership and strategic decision making.
- Enable conditions for structural change, whether minimal, at individual, organisational or societal level.
- Examine the role of business and economics and its relationship to environmental and development challenges across a range of risks, technological innovations, investment opportunities and policy responses.
- Demonstrate the potential for further learning and a positive attitude towards inspiring others in the wake of climate change issues.
- Critically appreciate the importance of an interdisciplinary approach to green management and sustainability, through the use of real-life scenarios and case studies, to inform a multicultural approach.
